They use razor clams. They're good but no bellies. I'm also from the East Coast North Shore Lynn MA. If you find a place Even close to a New England fried seafood platter please let me know 😁.
Here on the west coast, at least in Washington, fried clams are normally geoduck neck cut into strips, breaded and deep fried. There ok, I think I would prefer the way you get them.
