I parked on the street in front of the hotel without any problem.
All parking in Port Townsend is free. There is a lot just past our building that is 24hour free parking and some parking on the side of the building towards the water. They have not given any $15 tickets out for parking in over 2 1/2 years but not sure if they will start by sept or not but when you check in we can let you know if you ask because we do try to keep up to date on the situation. If you park on the street after 3pm you are fine till the next morning 11 am. which is our check out time.
Parking is street parking. It's kind of sprase, but I've manged to get parking spot both times I've stayed there.
