They have multiple boats of different sizes which go out varying distances. Tuna is 40-60 miles out...a very long haul. Salmon and bottom fishing is 8-15 miles out. You really need to call them. They are professional and experienced.
The Westport Charter was a big enough vessel to take 8 or more fishing. It's better if reserved with enough time in advance before the tuna season. Weather permitting your family will enjoy the fishing experience. We sure did, although the sea was really choppy on our trip and many of us became seasick and fed the ocean our vomit. We caught plenty Sea Bass among a few others.
