Important to note this rating has nothing to do with the Skippers and their deckhands but Deep Sea Charters booking company themselves. Also important to note I have never, ever left an online review in my life. I was informed my trip was cancelled due to our boat not running well. I respect the safety, however, was told I could still fish on the same boat for Salmon, as opposed to Tuna which seemed somewhat odd since the boat was apparently not running right. All this is fine except for the fact that my friend and I have taken work time off, flights purchased (friend flew from Oregon) and taken an overall significant financial loss. The least Deep Sea Charters could do, out of good customer service, would be to help sponsor an alternative fishing experience knowing the financial loss we have accrued. This was not offered and I was actually scoffed at when I brought the idea up. Not only are we disappointed by losing out on our fishing trip, money and time invested, we are utterly perplexed by the lack of sympathy and customer service shown by Deep Sea Charters. I will use alternative agencies and never recommend Deep Sea Charters to anyone.

Group of four scheduled on another charter but they had to cancel the day before our trip due to lost bearings on their boat. Deep Sea had room for us avoiding canceling our trip. Jasper, Deck Hand, did an excellent job. The captain found the fish and we caught our limit. All of us had a great time including my 83 year old dad. I highly recommend Deep Sea Charters.

We had a great trip! everything went exactly as we were told to expect. Stardust left the dock right on time. We ran for a couple hours to get to the fishing grounds. That gave us time to bond with the other folks on board. I was particularly impressed by the way Captain John, and Deckhand Dalton attended immediately whenever there was a tangled line, or we needed bait. It felt like we had our own personal assistant. We caught fish and we went home happy! What else could we hope for? Thanks, Deep Sea Charters and FV Stardust!

Great professional and customer focused charter company! Reservations provided great support and information about the the trip, captain Mike was fantastic in ensuring everyone caught a halibut and hit our limits on bottom fish, and the deck hands were extremely helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended and will definitely go back for future trips!
