I suggest connecting with the captain for the best time. Run time all depends on the size of the boat. Some boats can run out in a day while others may take 2 days for the trip. The smaller the faster,but more roll from the ocean. Tuna vary like crazy, but most of the time you will be so worn out you cant reel in another fish. I've been going out with deep sea charters for 10 years now and I cant say I've ever came back without a fish. If you have any thought of going fishing with them I strongly encourage it. I am a weathered angler. Salt and fresh water. These guys know their stuff and could out fish me any day. This is Coming from a national college bass angler who grew up in Eastern Washington and took trips out of Westport since I was 12. Highly suggest taking a trip.
Season August, they have day or overnight trips, price depends on trip, $500 ish.
