Hoods are still in season, and there are a couple of vendors who sell them, so yes, there should be Hoods available. Come early though - they tend to sell out!
Apologies for my ignorance, I'm not 100% sure on the specific strain of strawberries but over the last 3 weeks there have been roughly 4 different farmers selling large quantities of strawberries. So I think, yes! Someone may be able to give a better answer.
