Email q,a at nike about it they should hav gave you 10% more off
They were the right shoes in the box with the label stating so, they just needed a slight clean. I plan to get a hold of corporate about this. I feel that if they were on the shelf on the sales floor, then they should have to sell them to me. I made a half hour trip to buy shoes today at Nike because they were having a sale and the only pair of shoes that I wanted. (in my size btw a 14 which is larger than average so I have a limited selection already) the manager refused the sale and was very rude also offering no explanation besides "oh I can't sell those"......So I walked out empty handed today. Very poor customer service at the North Portland Nike factory store.
Try reaching QA of the store.. They should have helped you. But I am still not sure what can be reason for not for sale. May be you should have askes same time
Michael Lieberman, maybe the clerk wasn't certain that the pair of shoes you wanted was supposed to be in the box. You said they looked worn and it's to bad that a fact of life is thievery , but people do replace their own shoes with the new ones and walk out. So maybe the shoes you wanted were someone else's throw aways. When in question always ask the clerk first. Im sure there was a reason he didn't want to sell them to you. The Nike store has a lot of employees and they are always on the floor keeping a look out but you cant catch everyone who decides to be a thief. Go back and look again, I'm sure you will find something you like.
