The clean out is a pipe in between your house and the sewer or your septic tank so you can relieve a backup in your house and put a snake in it to unclog or send a camera down it to see the problem most houes have them but i was told not all house's built before the 70's have them if you have one it should be 1-2 feet from your foundation where your sewer pipe comes out of your home sometimes they are buried and you have to find them
