Cats diatomaceous earth is the best thing to put on your carpet it's like Classic Cuts a please open and kills them but it's safe for all pets and people put them on the baseboard to vacuum it back up when you're done sweeping it in
Food grade diatomaceous earth. Really the only thing that is safe.
