Besides a discovery pass, is there anything else we need to go ride dirt bikes? Like a motorcycle permit or something?

You still need a license to operate a dirt bike, or quad. A discovery pass allows you to park there, not to ride.

For dirt bikes, you only need the Discovery Pass for parking I believe.

If you're from Wa, you need an OHV permit, if you're from Oregon, WA honors Oregons OHV permit.
