Hi, if you are 18 years of age or older, you only have to pass the knowledge test and driving test to get a license. A permit is not required, and you don't need a permit to take the driving test. There is no waiting period, and sometimes you can take both tests on the same day, but we don't always have same-day driving test appointments available. Typically, you'll want a permit if you plan to practice on the roads before your driving test. The permit is available at the DOL for $25, which is a lot cheaper than getting caught without one ($550 ticket).

You'll Have To Take The Knowledge Test First. After That, You'll Be Able To Take The Driving Portion If You're Ready. There's A Wait Period If It's Your First Drivers ID. Think It's A Month Out
