Check the WTA trip reports. I checked a few weeks ago and there was still snow on the road around April 25th or so.
Last year when I visited in july there were still areas leading up to the lookout from the lake beneath it that were very wet, and there was snow, but nothing that made the path impassable. I do agree with the other response, check WTA trip reports.
