My daughter's grandfather used a wheelchair so accessiblity to the ceremony & reception was a necessity . And Empress was one of the very few which would accommodate the indoor ceremony on the main floor and the outdoor reception on the large paver front patio.
Hi Jeneene! We have wheelchair access to both the Chateau building and the mansion. The Chateau has ADA access straight from the reserved parking spots and the whole downstairs of the mansion is accessible by wheelchair. All of our outdoor ceremony areas also have wheelchair access.
In the older building, yes. But that is limited to main entry floor only. No wheelchair access in the newer Chalet building. Sad as that is a lovely facility.
Yes, but very steep slopes and the Bed and Breakfast does not have access to the upstairs where the bedrooms are. Large staircases to climb.
We have full ADA access to the Event Center (new building) . It is a commercial building and must have ADA access and ADA parking. The Empress B&B has access in the event space but no ADA access to the rooms. unless you are staying over night, it has nothing to do with the event center. also the mansion has 2 entrances one coming down the main gate ( car Entrance) and another flat entrance for handicap. I hope this help clear the confusion.
