I have a gazillion Video (VHS) tapes and would like to find a creative imagination to use the enclosed film or the cases for a reuse project. If there is nothing the garbage will have to take them.

I believe so, but maybe call first to ask. Glad you're not just tossing them in the trash! 😀

Melissa Johansen | Aug 15, 2022

Yes! They would take them!

If not SCRAP, Free Geek offers recycling of old technology so at least it won't go into a landfill.

Suzan Sander | Aug 15, 2022

I think they would be happy to have them.

Jess | Aug 15, 2022

I know for sure that William Temple on Northwest Glisan will take them if you can't find someone else to take them

Sara Petzold | Aug 15, 2022

Scrap for sure would, though if not that the makers room at the childrens museum is always looking for things to get creative with.

G.I. Clamvirus | Aug 15, 2022

Try not to throw them away, in any case. There are probably half a dozen ways to find takers for those. I been thinking about getting back into VHS myself.

Joe Aklin | Aug 15, 2022

Im pretty sure they would. Sonetimes they are not accepting donations though

Lonnie Danger | Aug 15, 2022

Scrap is the perfect place for this type of thing. Someone, somewhere out there will walk into Scrap and come up with some use for what you have. It's that kind of place.
