If you're checking luggage be there at least 90 minutes before departure (ideally two hours). If you're NOT checking luggage be there at least an hour early (preferably 90 minutes -- especially during the summer)! The gate area is lovely and a great place to "chill" before boarding your flight.
Ticket counter will not let you check in or check luggage any less than 40min to departure. I say 60-90min depending on if your parking and checking luggage.
