I'd recommend using the usual 90 minutes ahead of time rule. You'll just be that much more relaxed. There are fewer flights on smaller planes than SeaTac thus fewer passengers to process, but also fewer x-ray/metal detector lines. But everything is just that much more chill.
I agree with Stuart and Brandy: 90 minutes if you're checking a bag. If you're only taking carry-on and already have your boarding pass an hour is realistic for getting through TSA and arriving at your gate before they start boarding.
If your checking bags the airlines cut that off 45min prior to departure time. They start boarding about 30 min prior and if everyone is there they will leave early if air traffic control gives the okay. Security is never more than 10min....almost always walk up or 2min. 90min is perfect in my opinion.
In my experience, the two times I've flown out I was at the entrance of the passenger terminal about 35-45 minutes before the flight left and was fine. I did check in online, not at the kiosks. Also take into account the plane the will begin boarding around 30 minutes before the flight leaves. So I was there 5-15 minutes before boarding.
Depends. Checking bags? Add time for that. Have PreCheck? Less time, but no much. Parking there? Add time. Slow walker? Add a few mins. General consensus. Depends
Give yourself a couple of hours due to TSA and other security requirements. Better safe than sorry.
