I was there yesterday and read on the huge rule sign, " do not use center fire ammo. I asked the gal at the counter what that meant. She tried to explain but realized it didn't make sense. So What's your rule????

Hi Gary, I looked into the issue and the sign actually reads "no Centerfire rifles on pistol range". The sign is an artifact from the time when we did not have a sand backstop and rifle shooting was limited to the center bay. The rule is now inapplicable, since we no longer have a designated pistol only bay. However for the sake of clarity I had staff cover up that rule. Thank you for your feedback.

Not really sure why that would be a rule, I shoot 9mm parabellum which is a center fire round. I think the concern is the energy of rifle rounds damaging the range. .22LR is fine though.
