I am coming from out of town and we plan on fishing here. I havr never fished in tje ocean at all. Could I please get some advice on what to use to catch anything? Thanks in advance

Shrimp is your best bet man, I've caught just about everything off of it. Be careful though if you catch sculpin because they are poisonous but if you use them for bait at night they are perfect dog fish bait ( small sharks ) no barbs on your hooks

Plan on catching cheap fish and squid

Squid, herring and night crawlers worms. I've caught fish with these items. Squid is durable and cheap.
