Had a wonderful time with my wife. Fishing and crabbing. The fish were non existent. We got skunked not a single bite. Tried worms, lunkers yellow and green w/glitter, pink Corky's w/pink yarn and with out, salmon eggs, and tried all the secret sauces. Got 3 red rock crabs they were barely keepers. Used chicken and tuna. It's probably better fishing when no one is crabbing. It was busy all day. With people coming and going.

Squid season can start early as July and last till ending of January. Peak is usually October November. But they are here year around just not in large schools.
I cannot help I was taking pictures as a tourist
Shrimp is your best bet man, I've caught just about everything off of it. Be careful though if you catch sculpin because they are poisonous but if you use them for bait at night they are perfect dog fish bait ( small sharks ) no barbs on your hooks
You can very close by. The marina is for public use.
No. Looks like the ones that were there are damaged or removed
