COVID-19, COVID-19, COVID-19

I've noticed that ever since the covid-19 BS happened, businesses just open and close whenever; f*** business hours. Those signs on the door mean absolutely nothing. I think much of it has to do with the fact that they are short on labor. Huge franchises like Denny's supposedly can't afford to pay employees a livable wage, so no one wants to work for them. If someone is going to barely get by with paying the bills, they'd rather do it with unemployment checks and at least have time to do other things with their life other than wait on tables. Bottom line:. Why aren't they open all night? Because the owners are too greedy to pay people enough to keep the place open all night. Instead of raising their pay, they'd rather wait until September when unemployment benefits will go back to being a joke and the workforce is flooded with cheap labor again. Economic slavery of the lower class.
