Are flip flops ok for the regular rides or are we better off with tennis shoes and going barefoot in the water park side? We are going for the first time tomorrow and trying to figure out footwear for both parts.

You can't wear flip flops on most of the rides so you have to leave them at the end of the line. I DO NOT recommend going barefoot based on what I saw on the ground (yuck) my whole family wore strappy sandals or water shoes through out the whole park and that worked perfect
