There is a splash pad type area that would be good for a one year old- older kids are running around so you'd have to watch them closely so they don't get bowled over. I don't believe they allow outside pool floats in the wave pool or lazy river.

Yes. They have a really nice place for that age. They have a very large area with pool about 6 inches deap.
