Depends on the act! Sometimes its standing sometimes theres chairs. Balcony always has seats.

Depends on the show. I have experienced both. If designated, keep in mind that there is a bar in the back behind the last row of seats and it can get quite noisy.

Depends on the show. I just went to a comedy show with assigned seating on the floor, but they were folding chairs and clearly temporary.

It can be both. Upstairs is seats and down is standing

Many shows are General Admission so if you want to sit then you might need to arrive early enough to go to the balcony before it's full.

Designated in the balcony, standing on the floor all the shows I've seen there.
