In the early 1900's the Northwest had an outbreak of plague as well as mining accidents and other problems of a growing area. The building that Kells is in now was a mortuary. Kind of a strange bit of history but interesting nonetheless!
Yes it was owned by ER Butterworth. His building is now at Capitol Hill if anyone wants to visit!
