This a great Irish bar and restaurant by Pike Place Market. They have traditional Irish food if you're craving corned beef and cabbage or Irish stew! It's in a very old building that's been featured on a few paranormal activity TV shows. The restaurant/bar itself is mostly wood so no booth seating but it's very pretty and still comfortable. You can sit at the bar or a table. The have TV's with sports usually playing. It's a great place to grab something to eat downtown especially if you don't get down there early and the rest if the market is close Kells and other businesses in Post Alley generally stay open later than the actual market.

Stopped in for lunch and met the owner. Sweet woman with lots of tales to tell. The service was good and the food was great. Definitely recommend!

I have been to numerous Irish bars in both East and West coast, this is definitely one of the nicest ones! We ordered their chicken pasty, wings and hummus along with the stouts, lagers, and hazy IPAs. Everything was just perfect! I would strongly recommend you to try their Chicken Pasty, it's delicious! A must visit if you're in Seattle. Also, patio dining of course. 😜

Historic setting with fast service and yummy food. I had the artichoke dip and soda bread…delicious. This location was the first purposely built mortuary and it’s still said to be haunted. We spoke to a new employee who said he’s had a personal paranormal experience and he hasn’t even been here very long…

Kells serves until closing time. Kells has a limited menu after dinner hour.
No.
I don't know, I would call the place.
In the early 1900's the Northwest had an outbreak of plague as well as mining accidents and other problems of a growing area. The building that Kells is in now was a mortuary. Kind of a strange bit of history but interesting nonetheless!
Theyve always been on point when I've gone there. But...its been pretty late when i came thru. *hi Rhiannon

Remodeling, the place next door had a fire that damaged Kells too.
