Considering the seat movement and sensory overload, i think its a bad idea
I know it’s hard being a parent but please don’t chance a crying kid to ruin the movie for the rest of the audience.
My thought is like taking a kid too young to Disneyland... Lots of money for something they'll never remember. And little kids would probably get scared by how extra "real" the show is.
Most definitely not.
As adults we have been to 3 of these movies and we all felt like we got beat up afterwards. The seats move really rough for a toddler. Often times we have to keep sliding back in our seats because we're falling out just about. Another issue is that most of the sensory experiences are aimed at the head level of the seat and a toddler couldn't sit up high enough to get that effect either. So most of their experience is going to be extremely loud noise and a lot of scary jerky movement. I would wait on that till they're a bit older to be able to sit up higher in the chairs
It all depends on the child and how they handle situations. You know your child better than anyone including what does or doesn't or what might or might not scare them. Don't let money play a factor in your decision, it's not a waste. I remember seeing "The Land Before Time" with my mom at 2 - 3 years old.
