My step father filed off the firing pin on the hammer of a 38mm revolver before he died. Can this be fixed at your business? Please advise

LOL!!! Your step father must have been an extraordinary man; like Paul Bunyan. I understand that this must be a mistake in identifying the cartridge this revolver uses. A 38 mm anything would more commonly be referred to as a cannon! I do notice that the proprietor didn’t belittle or diminish your question. The people that I interacted with here were very down to earth and friendly.
