The return policy is posted at both registers. Depending on the item there is a time limit for returns and store credits and exchanges. Most items can be exchanged for the proper one with receipt. We do our best to work with our customers.
They have policies stated everywhere (by everywhere I mean on the receipt, on the registers, and on their website) you probably just didn't pay attention. There is a GM line for your case if you think it's that special. I know because I've shopped with them for years.
