They DO impact air travel while the show is going on. Flights from the north cannot come in, they have to go way east or west, then approach from the south.
I don't see any commercial aircraft taking off or landing flying over Seattle from Sea-Tac Airport as normal when the Blue Angels are flying. I'm on Beacon Hill in south Seattle where commercial aircraft fly over to Sea-Tac Airport. That led me to believe that flights are suspended at least north of the airport over Seattle when the Blue Angels fly.
