That was then Carolyn, This is now ! 🙏
If I were you, I would contact the airline itself to define their protocol but I have sent my kids 25 years ago to Florida to visit with my Father and I did both contact the airline AND the person at the boarding gate. They made it safely. Now you can't get to the gate without a boarding ticket and valid Identification. So I would definitely contact the actual airline so that they could be escorted from TSA to the gate. I would also give them a note stating they are traveling alone. If I might add a safe word could help. I wish you luck, I was a nervous wreck but the boys had a blast! Don't forget to let your kids know they must wear their mask throughout the whole flight! They are VERY STRICT these days. Best of luck. 🍀
When traveling with a kid that's underage you have to talk directly to the airline so that can be aware that the kid is there and they will have unattended keep an eye on the child you would have to give the name of the person that the kid is going to be picked up by make sure that they have their ID
You will need to escort her on.
Call airlines and get a chaperone
I did it and it was just fine
Yes, arrange it through the airline and they will arrange chaperones.
