No age, I took my girlfriends 8 yr old and he loved it.
No upper or lower limit. Just good behavior.
No age requirements for kids. Probably suitable for advanced 1 year olds up to 5ish
We have been taking our 7 year old son since he was 2. He has always enjoyed it.
If you have a small child learning to walk, going at a peak time may be a little intimidating with all the bigger kids running around. Tuesday mornings from 10 to 11:30 the museum is open for special needs and this would be a perfect time to bring a new walker or a child scared of crowds/loud noises. There is a new exhibit in the art studio that allows children to use tools to create whatever they want from recycled material. This would be great for the older children. I would say that many of the exhibits are geared to younger to middle elementary.
It doesn't matter the age
I didn't ask about an age I just went. My grandbaby is 3 so I assumed she was good either way.
When we visited there were ages 1 through approx 12 having fun together. There was a child there with fairly significant disabilities who benefited from the stimulation generated by all the actvities.
The official site says they serve children 8 and under. That said, they have a fairly broad range of activities from awesome huge tree house, to playing in the water with toys, and painting. I've seen all ages from just able to walk to early teens when I've been with my tyke. The older kids are usually there with a younger sibling, but most of them also seem to have an alright time. They have quite a fee videos and pictures on their site covering the activities there if you'd like to check and figure out if your kiddos would have fun.
