You could drive the cart if it is street legal (a low speed vehicle) and had a state vehicle tag (e.g., a license plate). As the other person posted, you have to cross A1A, a divided 4 Lane. There are pedestrian and bicycle paths, but golf carts are not allowed on those.
All you people saying yes are crazy. This is not the villages. There are some parts of Florida where it is legal, this is not one of them

No not on the street. However there is a bike path most of the way.. i biked it many times when i was there and it was never busy. Most times i was the only one on it. While ridding on the bike path is im sure not allowed With any motorized type of cart (other than disability type) I would do that rather than the road..
No is not aloud due you must cross IA1a and some public areas i saw people driven golf carts inside the camp. Or maybe local police give you a waiver call them
