I would say it is a cool spot to hang out with some friends at the bar, but for sure it's a rugged motel for hardcore small space enthusiasts. The beach is nice tho. Good view, nice atmosphere but I would say a pg13 tiki bar, at least after 9.

The bar is fun to go to for a few hours, but the motel seems seedy to me. I wouldn't take my family there.
The hotel is definitely old school mom and pop. Some things like the flooring and TV have been updated and others like the old school bedding not. Some of the bathrooms had older stuff which was obviously broken and glued back together. Rooms had fridge, microwave and stove so that’s a plus!!! The pool was open to the pubic so it can be crowded! Plus you could only bring drinks purchased at the tiki bar into the pool area. The Tiki bar was big fun and the location and Price is great! We brought bicycles and ride the mile to the main drag!
