Its approx 30 min away from gainesville. Its a nice drive too, no congestion and a pretty drive.

If you are flying, it is about 2.5 hours from Jacksonville or Tampa, 3.5 from Orlando, less than an hour from Lake City (I think spirit flies in/out of there). If not camping, there are a couple of decent motels nearby in High Springs, with a cute downtown and restaurants.
