Our insurance company won't cover any dog bites, so please leave your pets at home unless it's a service dog. Thanks
As a follow up to the dog issue, if anyone has a dog that bites or potentially may bite, please keep that animal out of any public place. Dogs need to be taught good behavior and that responsibility falls squarely on the owner's shoulders. As the owner and handler of a service dog, my suggestion would be to take your pet dog to the restaurant and sit in the Bier Garden in warmer weather. Service dogs are trained in behaviour, including not barking at other dogs, and not relieving themselves in a restaurant or public buildings. Owners (and handlers) must also go through extensive training to know how to diffuse any situation. Training is a daily, on-going endeavor to keep both dog and owner at peak performance.
