Sounds like someone gave you the wrong size cup. Their sizes are Tall (12 oz), Grande (16 oz), Venti (20 oz), and Trenta (31 oz.).

The sizes are the same as before. If you are certain you were given the wrong size drink, go to the store with the cup and your receipt and ask for the correct drink.
I had a problem of getting the wrong size. Maybe that's what happen? The oz are the same for all sizes
