Photo as not permitted for the most part. There are people who take photos of people who have or do sign the release that they have for photos being taken.
You'll also need permission of everyone on the photo.
Photos on Star Ranch are generally prohibited. It is a Family Oriented Ranch. Rules are to protect Safety and Security of Residents, Children, and other Members. I would suggest to ask the office and race officials at Registration table. If you get approval for photos, I wouldn't reccomend sharing on Social media.
Yes you can make sure no one is behind you and ask permission from people if you want a group or friend selfie.

You would have to talk to the staff.
You can always ask in the main office, but likely with so many people they will say, no. There may be a designated staff photographer who may be able to get a pic.
