It is an Indian Reservation... So No.
No open 24/7
No
It's in the court system. Texas agreed to not getl a injunction to shut them down. They will let it work its way thru the courts. They are trying to shut them down.
A state representative gave Alabama-Coushatta Reservation in Texas the same rights as all other Indian Reservations, finally. I remember going there several times each summer as a kid. Was heartbroken when they closed. I'm happy for them that they have a way to support their families. The little weekend entertainment and gift shop they had just couldn't compete with the large water parks and other entertainment anymore. This is what I read on their website, "A Big Thank You to Congressman Brian Babin for sponsoring legislation that will protect Naskila Gaming and over 330 jobs for Texas families! HR 4985 has been filed to allow the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas to receive the same treatment that the federal government extends to other Tribes under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act."
Indian Reservation they pretty much can do what they want how they want when they want. On their territory you go by totally different laws....been that way for years
