I just saw were Wind Creek State Park was recognized for their waterfalls, hiking trails, outdoor activities, and nature. That's wonderful, however, we were just there for the first time and the trails were certainly not good that we used??

Sounds more like the description of Chewacla State Park. They are about an hour away from each other.

No waterfalls but we love everything about the place!

Never have I seen a waterfall at wind Creek. Plenty of other things to do though.

Maybe you're thinking of DeSoto State Park. There's trails and waterfalls.

We did go on some of the trails which looked like they weren't used very often. There were trail markers on the trees. Do you have a particular question?

Been coming since I was a teenager. No waterfalls. It's easy to walk the shoreline. No real trails. Shady campsites. Paved roads. Cabins with piers. Several kids playgrounds. Sandy beach. Marina with convenience store, bait, and boatlaunches. We're checking out of a cabin as I type.
