Yes, they are the same folks from California. Don't get caught up in the PETA/ADI smear campaign though... I have visited The Preserve and saw no evidence of abuse. The elephants appeared to be very healthy and in very good spirits. There were no wounds that we could see. The experience that we had was extremely positive and educational. I truly believe that these animals are well cared for and are enjoying a decent life. For the previous "guides" that answered incorrectly: Have a little knowledge or do some research before you answer questions please!

Great facility and wonderful folks! The animals I saw were well taken care of!! I recommend the experience, it's terrific.
They definitely are the same owners, those who answered "not the same" should hit up a search bar, and on top of that should learn how to thoroughly answer a question. They do a good job at making you believe they're treating the animals with care while you are there(they look happy and unharmed), however I wish I would have known about their history in California, I DEFINITELY would have asked them about the accusations against them. Doing some research after my visit I recognized one of the men that greeted us in a video of him striking the elephants feet with a bullhorn. What a punk....

To all the people saying the eles are well cared for, you're sorrily mistaken. Just because you dont see wounds doesnt mean they are not mistreated. Seriously do you even expect them to let you see wounded eles? And seriously do you expect to see wounds to start clicking in your heads that some things are not right? The things the eles do in front of you are the exact things they are made to do for tourists in Asia. The beating and training are done before you come and after you leave. Seriously take a hard long look at reality will you?
They are absolutely the same. If you look at their website it even says so. I went, felt gross, and then found the videos of the SAME people bull hooking them into submission. Doing tricks is not what I wanted to see. When you go they play calming music and have Hindi statues to make it seem calming, but then the Ellie’s do intense tricks and the host explains why bulll hooks are good.
