We went to see the falls today and they were just trickling down the side. Did the falls get diverted upstream?

This time of year it's like that every time I go.... My favorite time is February...the falls are just rushing and so is the river... It's almost deafening... Like the guy b4 me said I really think it depends on the rain fall...

It hasnt rained in quiet a bit so it might be the lack of rainfall. No construction or diversions have been made atleast to public record currently.

There is a diversion above the falls. There is a small hydro/electric operation there. There are more falls above the one everyone sees. I am not advising it but you could walk up the service road right by the parking area and be surprised by what is up there. It's a pretty steep hike but may be worth it. Just sayin'.

Thank you. We went a few years ago at this time of year and it was huge. We wondered about the flow being diverted because there was a gushing culvert and overflowing capped basin near the plant building. Can't seem to find any info from local papers or online searches either. Curious.

I was there about 2 weeks ago and they were flowing well then. The dry weather has probably just resulted in a reduced flow at the waterfall.
