Me and my friend are going over spring break but we just want to park somewhere and float into garner through the fri. Anyone know anywhere around the river i could legally park my car for a day?

Ive been before i usually stay at 4j river way and I was hoping to just park around there because i know the float from there to garner is bearable and we were hoping to avoid having to pay/deal with spring break lines and what not but im sure we'll figure something out

You can park in Concan and float the Frio. The Frio isn't a very deep river and it's slow. Also, not really a party town, it's VERY small. Try New Braunfels for floating.

Yes you can park for a day, you just have to pay.

Since it is Spring Break, park visitors will likely be issued wrist bands to gain access to the park. Anyone without a band may face fines but certainly escorted out of the park. Best strategy is to get to the park about 1hr before it opens to get in line and pay for a day use and find parking. Otherwise, there are two other camps on the River to visit. Try Concan.
