Yes look at the map on the Texas parks and wildlife website for Garner, because some of the tent campsites are super close to the river that runs the backside we swim there hardly anyone goes down there you can take a chair and umbrella and sit for hours in the water undisturbed it is shallow but still has some pools to sit down in
