Shelling is good on the island but particular accesses differ. Sometimes going to the South or North ends of the island are best. Other times mid island. Depends on wave action and storms.
Near the pier is almost a guarantee of some shell patches. That's beach access 30 / 31 or so However these accesses are closed. 26 is the nearest one open or Peter's point.
