We're planning on going camping around this way, but our largest car is a BMW X5, will we be able to access a tent camping area on the beach without needing a 4WD?

Yes. Be alert to your access road so as not get trapped if weather gets severe.

Yes it's fine as long as u don't park right in front of the water and avoid parking where's too much sand and u will do fine
