I think your truck will be great. There are no outdoor speakers, so maybe bring an FM tuner if you want the sound right next to you. Many people are playing the sound from their vehicles pretty audibly, so it shouldn't be an issue either way. Parking is easy on weekends, there was plenty of space for everyone anytime that I've gone.
A pick up is perfect because you can back in and sit in the bed of your truck. It's packed on Saturday's but there's good visibility. I was in a small car and had no trouble seeing the screen. Get there early for the best parking. Enjoy!
