I recently tore my ACL and am on crutches. How hard is the hike? Would it be worth it on crutches? If not I can walk and it doesn’t hurt as long as I don’t twist my leg, would it be possible to do that?

There's a lot of ice right now it's probably not a good idea.

Nope, not worth it. You will have blisters in your armpits and hands after riding crutches that far. It will be a loads nicer hike in 6 weeks anyway

No. Absolutely not. There are ups and downs and a very thin section without rails high up. Not to mention it is a long hike if you're injured. A little over 1 hour one way if i remember correctly. We have to take several breaks carrying waters snack and towels but i could imagine dont that hike injured. Theres a good chnce you make it pretty far up and hurt yourself worse .

It's not super hard, but it's got a lot of uphill and it's a few miles. I probably wouldn't do it until you're healed.
