There is a Spanish grocery over off of Valley Mills and Bosque, in the shopping center next to the Summer Palace Chinese restaurant...they may carry something like that. Sometimes you have to go to a specialty market to find unique items. The flea market over by Baylor also has vendors who sell fresh fruit and produce...they may also have what you are looking for and it doesn't cost anything to get into the market

I'm not sure if they carry it at this store. You can check Bellmead. Some HEB stores do have malanga. You can always call and ask before you shop.
