Why is it the yellow jackets people always want to point where something is and the blue jackets actually go out there way to take you right to it?

The yellow jacket ones are responsible for the"FRONT AREA"alone and cannot leave EXCEPT AS NEEDED in special cases, the blue jacket types are the ground warriors. (Wife)

The real answer is the yellow jackets are managers, and are responsible for front end only. You’ll also see the self checkout people wear yellow as well but don’t make the same as the managers.

Because the yellow jackets can't leave the front and the blue jackets jobs are to stock and fix prices and redo the shelves along with help a customer with whatever they need if they walk up to them

Yellow vests are CSMs and self checkout cashiers. The blue are the regular cashiers and stockers and dept. managers. Yellow vests aren't supposed to leave the front or their register at all. The rest can move around for the most part
