Agree with Ed Clark.
I understand the dogs that guide the blind but these emotional distress people it's just an excuse to bring your pet with you...
It started off with blind people being able to take their "service" dogs (seeing eye dogs they were originally called). They were specially trained to help blind people navigate out in public. For instance they were trained to know about red lights and would only let theur owners cross the street when the light was green for their owner. After all, how was a blind person going to know what color the light is before proceeding? Anyway over time the government created a 2nd class of animals that help people called "Emotional Support Animals" or ESA. These weren't just dogs but virtually ANY animal that an emotionally compromused person could take comfort in. Originally it might have been a war veteran returning home to the US suffering from PTSD (Post Traunatic Stress Disorder). Now there are so many animals being claimed as one or the other that companies don't want to deny anyone who legitimately needs one of these animals. Some people are taking advantage of the situation.
Scott W Shame on you!!! "There but for the grace of God go you." Clearly you have zero clue of the word Empathy. 😡
Service dogs are allowed.
